Two Preschool workshops will be held, one for confident walkers to 3 years and another for 3 years to 5 years. Both preschool workshops will last for approximately 45 minutes with a break in between. In these workshops, we will be working from our own exciting Musical Theatre Syllabus developed for our PreSkool MINI’s classes, now being rolled out to local areas.
For the confident walkers to 3 years group, you will be on hand to guide your children though the activities. The class is designed to actively engage children and parents alike, with activities that encourage motor and cognitive skills as well as vocal skills.
For the 3 years to 5 years group, you will be encouraged to give your child a little independence by stepping back and watching them enjoy the fun but be on hand if needed.
The Theatre Arts workshop will give a taste of our weekly 3 hour sessions, concentrating on dance, singing and acting technique where we will invite and encourage students to realease their inner performer.
Both workshops will be taught by our wonderful teachers who will make you feel very welcome and ensure you enjoy your time with us.
The workshops will be held at Portchester Community School on Saturday the 7th of March in the afternoon – starting at 12:15.
Car parking is avalable in the school grounds.

Health & Safety:
We will have a very short break during the 3 hour Theatre Arts workshop so any snacks need to be very small, just a drink and 1 item (fruit, biscuit) . Unfortunately we don’t have time to eat anything more than that so please don’t bring in sandwiches, lunchables etc as the children become quite upset when they can’t finish it all.
The clip below is from an impromptu interview with Keeley, one of our students at Stageskool Theatre Arts in Portsmouth. In the clip she responds to questions from one of our teachers about her experience at Stageskool. We hope you will see that Stageskool is a special place for all our students where they feel free to express themselves amongst friends. We are a family; why not come and see for yourself.
Stageskool Theatre Arts is really excited to announce that we will be taking students to Disneyland Paris next year to perform to an international audience.
Not only do students get to perform on a Disney’s stage but they also have time to explore the parks and have amazing fun with family and friends.
Stageskool would like to offer this fabulous opportunity to children and young people from the age of 5 who love to sing, dance, act, perform and of course love Disney.
Kim a massive well done on your wonderful show yesterday. Incredible. Despite living in the same house as Ayisha, although I know she has a real passion for performing arts, I had no idea how much she’d come on with it all until yesterday. She got in the car after the show, was really quiet and after me hounding her asking what was the matter, she burst into tears and said “there is no other feeling like I had on that stage today!” She absolutely loves it.
Thank you again for making all those kids dreams come true, and you didn’t need to keep apologising on stage for shedding a tear as most of us were all doing the same!!! XxxxxxMrs Cowan, Ayisha’s Mum.
